John DePasquale, MD, MPH, FAAP, DTM&H

I am a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine, The University of Arizona Pediatric Residency Program, Georgia State University Institute of Public Health and The Gorgas Institute of Tropical Medicine (Lima Peru). I recently completed a CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) fellowship in applied medical epidemiology. Over the past two decades I have worked in Africa, South America, the Caribbean, and now in the Pacific. Professional interests include tropical diseases, patient education, infection control, preventive medicine, and the built environment and its effect on population health.

I was also the self-appointed hiking guide for all new visitors to the territory during my tenure, and tried to hit every trail, bay, waterfall, and swimming hole on Tutuila before my contract ended!
