Matagiese H. Tunoa Jr., DCHMS, MBBS

Born and raised in Pago Pago, American Samoa, I am a graduate of the Pacific Basin Medical Officers Training Program - John A. Burns School of Medicine (Diploma Community Health, Medicine and Surgery) and the Fiji School of Medicine - formerly University of the South Pacific (MBBS). For the first 4 years of my career at LBJ, I served as a general practitioner. Since 2003, I have enjoyed working as a general pediatrics staff physician. I served a term as the secretary/treasurer of the medical staff and enjoyed participating in many of the various medical executive committees. I always welcome the chance to further my medical education specializing in pediatrics as opportunities arise.
